Sunday 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM (closed during lunchbreak 12 noon - 1:00 pm) The library is open to both the expatriate and local community. It has a variety of books for both children and adults, its largest holdings being fiction, Christian theology and discipleship, and childrens. The library also offers computers with internet access.
The UCM Library is located at the B1 level of UCM and is wheelchair accessible. Comprehensive & Diverse Collection The library specializes in materials related to Literature, Art and Religion. The collection comprises of 25,000+ volumes of books and audio materials for adult and children. It has a good collection of Filipiniana, Christian periodicals, and popular magazines. Computerized Bibliographic Database, Circulation Services & Internet Access The library offers a computerized circulation services, OPAC, and access to Internet to members and other library users. Colorful & User-Friendly Environment The library has a spacious reading and study area. Sofas invite browsers to relax while looking over the stacks of magazines on file, on topics as diverse as business and crafts. Carrels are available for more focused researchers. The children's section is a delightful place for toddlers to teens. Colorful board books are placed in cubbyholes at just the right height for little folk. Low shelves are stacked with a variety of storybooks that will pique their curiosity about every topic under the sun. Fun & Educational Special Activities The library offers regular fun and educational activities such as storytelling, creative writing workshop, self-defense for women workshop, cooking demo, and many more. Volunteer Program The Volunteer Program of the UCM Library creates opportunities for individuals to feel personal satisfaction while performing a valuable service for the community/congregation; serves as a method for volunteers to become familiar with the library; and supplements the efforts of library staff. The Union Church of Manila (UCM)) is holding the Metro Manila Christian Film Festival (MMCFF) on November 3-8, 2009. The Festival seeks to know Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior and in the process recognize filmmakers whose projects expound on Christian teachings, Christian values and integrity thru the medium of film.
