2. What strikes you about their preparations for the Passover meal?
3. How is the account in Mark similar to and different from the accounts in Matthew and Luke? (Matthew 26:17-30; Luke 22:7-23)
4. Discuss what you know about the Passover story and traditions. How might the Passover story have affected the disciples’ understanding of the events unfolding around them? (Exodus 12:1-28; Psalm 113-118 [the Hallel Psalms]; Psalm 136)
5. Share an aspect of Mark’s account that particularly affected you.
6. How does your culture and life experience help you to see the work of God around you? How does it sometimes interfere?
